Fondé au Havre en 1997 sur les cendres de NOMED (groupe culte de la scène metal française des années 90), FATAL fait ses premières armes en pratiquant un Thrash agressif et original en incluant cuivres et chant en français dans des compositions finement orchestrées.
En 2001 un changement de line up fait prendre à FATAL une tournure plus violente, brutale, et technique toujours présente aujourd’hui.
S’enchainent alors 2 albums, ESKHATON en autoproduction et BARBARISM sorti chez Rupture record.
Fort d’une multitude de concerts à travers l’Europe aux côtés de groupes tel que CANNIBAL CORPSE, ABORTED, GORGOROTH, IMPALED NAZARENE, BENIGHTED, CANCER,...
FATAL se forge une solide réputation scénique jusqu’en 2010, date à laquelle le groupe décidera de mettre un terme à ses activités.
En 2019 FATAL se reforme, foule de nouveau la scène de plusieurs festivals (HELLFEST, FESTIVAL DES ARTS BOURRINS, APOCALYPSE METAL FEST, BLAST NIGHT,...) et reprend la composition d’un nouvel opus, APOCALYSPSIS, sorti chez Metal Exhumator, dont les 9 titres sont un délicieux mélange des influences du nouveau line up composé à ce jour de :

Founded in Le Havre in 1997 on the ashes of NOMED (cult band of the French metal scene of the 90s), FATAL makes his first weapons by practicing an aggressive and original Thrash including brass and singing in French in finely orchestrated compositions.
In 2001 a line up change made FATAL take a more violent, brutal and technical turn still present today.

FATAL has built a strong stage reputation until 2010, when the band decided to discontinue its activities.
In 2019 FATAL is reforming, once again thronging the stage of several festivals (HELLFEST, FESTIVAL DES ARTS BOURRINS, APOCALYPSE METAL FEST, BLAST NIGHT,...) and reproduces the composition of a new opus, APOCALYSPSIS, out on Metal Exhumator, whose 9 tracks are a delicious mix of influences from the new line up composed to date of:
